I'm not sure about the reason here but I don't think that it looks good.
Not from an aesthetic point of view but from a "who-did-the-upgrade" point of view.
I've seen some upgrades that I've later been asked to look at, whenever I see "Default Upgrade Group" I get suspicous :)
Most of the time when I see that, no sharing is configured and they have been running for 6-12months without SIS.
I get even more suspicous when I see Express Vault Store Group on a production system :) (luckily those are very few).
I guess one way to change it is to create new VS-Groups and VS and then move/migrate the archives.
But that is a lot of work for, I guess, not much gain from a functionality perspective.
