Deployment Scanner shows Exchange Rights Error

Hi there,

I want to Upgrade from EV version 12.1 to 14.1. Exchange 2016, Server 2012, SQL 2016

I ran the SetEVExchangePermissions.ps1 script and it says the Vault Service Account already has all the permissions needed. and I checked the permissions in the Exchnage console he has send/recieve as persmissions and in ADSI editor I can see he has the rights shown here https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/122209918-122209922-0/v39663705-122209922

The user domain\esa does not have the required permissions within Active Directory Domain exsrv01 (Organization schema version: ). Go to http://www.veritas.com/docs/TECH51293 for guidelines on running a PowerShell command to set the required Exchange Server permissions.
The user domain\esa does not have the required permissions within Active Directory Domain exsrv02 (Organization schema version: ). Go to http://www.veritas.com/docs/TECH51293 for guidelines on running a PowerShell command to set the required Exchange Server permissions.
The user domain\esa does not have the required Exchange Administrator permissions (including 'send as' and 'receive as' permissions) on server exsrv01 or the Active Directory Permissions could not be read for that server.
The user domain\esa does not have the required Exchange Administrator permissions (including 'send as' and 'receive as' permissions) on server exsrv02 or the Active Directory Permissions could not be read for that server.

is there anything I can check? or can I ignore this?

regards

  • Hello,

The joy of Deployment Scanner :)

As you have checked the permissions etc. manually, I think you are good. Do you happen to have the DS for 12.1 available somewhere? Can you install that one and run it? What does that result in?
