How to measure client experience, ideas?

Hello all,

I have a request to report on the 'customer experience'. The idea is to get some sort of information on how long it takes (for a user) to retrieve an item, open Archive Explorer, Search Archive etc.

Is this possible? The only thing I could come up with is using IIS-log's, but that would only give me the server side of get and post. Besides using the extended logging of the EV-client, does anyone have an idea if this is possible, and if so, what do you use?
