Migrate a deleted users PST file

Hi, I couldnt find a direct answer for this on the site. Hopefully someone can help. It seems like a straight forward problem but the solution isn't clear to me in Enterprise Vault (7.5)   I have...

    Okay, I would probably:

    1. Import the PST into a Discovery archive (if you need to keep data for legal purpose) OR
    2. A current user archive (if data needs to be shared with another user) OR
    3. A test/spare archive (if data needs to be kept for no reason), this archive can also be a spare mailbox you create again for same user account just to get an archive and import PST into it.

    Can't think of other ways around. Probably others can come up with more ideas/thoughts
