moving archives from non-EV dedupe to an EVdedupe enabled server - will the archives then dedupe?

Hi All,

I have 2 servers in my EV site

Server A was created initally with the EV directory on it and for some reason EV de-duplication was not enabeled on the server.

When Server B was created and added to the EV site, EV de-duplication was enabled.

I am now wondering if i migrate the archives from vault store group on Server A to the vault store group on Server B, will this then de-duplicate the archives that have been moved?

I will be using the native EV migration tool to carry out the migrations.

There is only 350 odd users left on server A but they are taking up as much space as server B with 2K+ archives on it.

    Yes, if you use Move Archive to move the archives into a Vault Store with Sharing enabled ("dedupe"), the items will be stored using Single-Instance Storage.
