Pending messages in Outlook

Hello, I have found that EV 8.0.3 wrote warning to the application log that database has not been backed up for a long period. Consequently, messages are archived but stay at pending because I have set safety copies to "After backup". The whole SQL server with EV databases is succesfully backed up every night by Legato neworker. But the EV seems to don't know that database is backed up. Tested change settings safety copies to "Archive immediately" and all pending messages were turn into shortcut. Anybody know, how EV determine succesfull database backup?

    You will need to be sure the Archive bit is being reset.  If your backup software does not reset it you can use the trigger file mechanism.  Have a read of this and the related technotes:

    It is good to sort out your database backups BUT pending messages is not due to tha database backup bur rather a Vault Store Partition backup (or replication if Centera).

    OK, I will watch out for files at Vault Partition with archive bit set next few days. Vault Partition is backed  up also.
