    Markus,

End-user access of their archive information with Enterprise Vault.cloud is different than Enterprise Vault.  First, you know that Enterprise Vault Mailbox archiving requires a small application to run on the end-user's computer. This application allows for the archiving, shortcuts, and mailbox pruning of the end-user's mailbox (based on the policies on Enterprise Vault).

Enterprise Vault.cloud does not have any application that would be installed on the end-user's computer.  Therefore, shortcuts and mailbox management is not available from Enterprise Vault.cloud.  Journaling is simply an exact replica of the message is transported to the cloud archive respository.  So the original message to still sent to the intended recipient.  Therefore, the messages that are sent and received via Office 365 will still reside in the end-user's mailbox.

Enterprise Vault.cloud has API integration with Office 365 so a folder can be created and placed in the end-user's inbox folder tree to access their archived messages (this would be both the Outlook desktop client and the Office 365 web mail client as well).  Enterprise Vault.cloud breaks out the journal so that end-users have the ability to view the own archived messages from the journaled archive respository.  End-users have access to these immutable messages.  If you right-clicked on the actual Enterprise Vault.cloud folder (in the end-user's inbox), go to the properties option, and the homepage tabe, you will find a URL to the Personal.cloud portal (with ADFS the URL is unique to the ADFS certificate).
