problems after installing updates

I have a few computers with PentiumIII motherboard which has been installed with symantec corporate edition antivirus. for long time I haven't had any problems with my antivirus , definition updates and so on. but from three months ago I've been faced problems and disturbances in my computers after installing definition updates. no one knows why these disturbances occured. please help me to solve this problem because I can't update my antivirus.

    Are you using SAV 9.0?

     

    Symantec Antivirus 9.x  reached its End of Support Life as of March 31, 2009. Virus definition updates for version 9.x were discontinued fromApril 1, 2009.

    the virus defs are now not QA tested for this version. SO if you are uisng SAV 9.0 this could be the reason

    Hi all, I cannot connect to my desktop from my other computer.  I used to be able to, but recently had to reset my internet settings and now I cannot connect remotely.  Can anyone advise?  Thank you.

    I am betting OrthoSyman is using something like pcAnywhere. If so, OrthoSyman please start a new thread in that forum.
