Server 2012 Question

Just a few questions regarding backing up Server 2012 OS. Symantec System Recovery 2011 cannot backup Server 2012 OS? I need to upgrade to SSR 2013? Also, Backup exec 2010 R3 needs SP3 installed for ...

    Hi, Yes...Be 2010 R3 needs SP3 installed in order to backup Server 2012. Note this can only currently be installed via the RAWS agent. You cannot install BE 2010 R3 on Servdr 2012 as a media server. This also does not appear to b on the roadmap at all for BE 2010 R3...you would need to upgrade to BE 2012 for this. Thanks!
