Abnormal Traffic from Replication destination

Hi All,

In my environment, there is a pair of NBU5230 appliance (A & B) to have single direction replication (From A to B).

It is very strange, there is a huge amount of traffic from B to A after the replication windows closed. That huge amount of traffic is fully utilization my MAN Link.

Any body have idea?

  • What evidence do you have that the traffic from B to A is actually from the appliance at B?
  • I checked in the appliance under networkstatus. attached below

The output you're showing here does not indicate the "amount of data transferred out", but rather, the "speed of data transferred out".

A "49064.03" KB/s merely mean data is transferred out at 49 MB/s, but to find out how much data going out, I guess we need to check the "ifconfig -a" for the change of bond1 or eth1, before & after.

Looks like there are 1.2TB data sending out from Bond1
