Backup Failure by error code 13

Just one VM or all of them?

Has it worked before?

Also could you post up the Detailed Status of the job so we can see where it fails?

Only one VM showing this error and yester day It was working

Looks like the Backup system is trying to connect to the ESX host that the Client is on and is not able to. 

Check the connection tot he ESX host managment interface from the NBU media/Master servers. I would bet that the connection is not able to communicate and thus causing the failures you are experiencing. 

The connection path is as follows. 

NBU > VC server

VC < to NBU telling it that the Snapshot is completed and what ESX host its stored on

NBU > ESX host to backup client snapshot

NBU > Cannot connect to ESX host for backup = Status 13.
