Client process aborted (50)

Hi All,

I am getting client process aborted error ( status code 50 )

All drives are completing, only shadow copy components having client process aborted issue ( 50 )

Details:

Master Server - Win 2012 ( 7.6.0.3) 

Client - Win 2003 ( 7.1)

Media Server - Linux 

Client server - Volme shadow copy service is running.

Master Server - Snapshot provider - Microsoft Volume Shadow copy service (VSS) 

Please suggest.

    Try to take a backup of system state/shadow copy from the windows within to isolate the issue. Also check the event viewer logs on the machine .

    Also check vssadmin list writers to see everything is stable.

    Provide more details, was it working or suddenlty stopped. For vss issue on 2003 there are rollup from MS specififally for vss issues that you might need to consider.

             Yes as pointed earlier by sazz this is a vss issue .

    Have a look in Windows Event viewer. Status 50 is usual a Dr. Whatson or crash of the running application (in this case bpbkar I presume).

    Also if not done so, turn bpfis and bpkar logging on by creating directories bpifs and bpbkar in [install_path]\netbackup\logs
