ERR - Unable to NFS mount the required file system.

    Have you followed steps to configure NFS on the Windows Client?

    The instructions in NetBackup Administrator's Guide, Volume I  for W2008 should work for W2012 as well:

    p.817 Creating a policy that allows Active Directory granular restores  

    The Network File System (NFS) must be installed on the media server and all Active Directory domain controllers or ADAM/LDS hosts.
    See “About installing and configuring Network File System (NFS) for Active Directory Granular Recovery” on page 1160.
    See “About configuring Services for Network File System (NFS) on Windows 2003 R2 SP2” on page 1176.
    See “About configuring Services for Network File System (NFS) on Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2” on page 1168.

     

    (Support for Active Directory Granular Restore on  Windows Server 2012 R2 is listed in NBU OS CL: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH76648  but unfortunately not covered in the manuals.)
