Exclude offline disks
HI All,
We are going through a strange scenario where , One of our client has couple of offline disks in disk management. Since this is our DR server hence disks will only be brought online in the event of Disaster recovery.
Isuee we are facing is with System state/Shadow copy components backup. it still reads through disks which is offline and fails with error 156, Can someone let me know if there is procedure to remove offline disks from netbackup configuration?
Client : Windows 2008, Netbackup 7.1
Master server : Solaris 10, Netbackup 7.1

You should patch client to version 7.1.0.1 (best to install latest 7.1.0.4 patch).
This patch introduced additional w2koption parameters that can be used to ignore offline disks (unresolved volumes).
