    You are trying to bypass a security feature.

    If it works using LTO1 labels with LTO5 tape and drives, is down to the firmware in the robot. It may reject mounting "LTO1" (LTO1 labeld LTO5 media) tapes in a LTO5 drive because LTO1 not compatible with LTO5 drives.

    Buying a new set of LTO5 labels does not cost much - Please consider this.

     

    HCART, HCART2, HCART3 is not related to LTO revisions. It is just a marker e.g red tapes for red tape drives, yellow for yellow. HCART2 tapes for HCART2 tape drives

Hi,

I used device configuration wizard and configured.

I also make up the drives

Labeling L1 is worng for LTO5 tapes? we cant use LTO5 tapes with labeled with L1 at end. Since I have all barcodes printed with L1 at the end .

How configure tape drives? my LTO 5 tapes using hcart how to change to hcart2 for LTO5 tapes
