How to improve backup and restore performance
I installed Nebackup 8.2 on Windows Server 2019,
I tried to configure NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS and SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS, but the buffer time and latency are still too much.
If there is a better way to improve backup performance, please let me know.
Either NUMER_DATA_BUFFERS or SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS will improve performance if client is slow in sending data.
The two setting will however improver overall system performance a lot, especially for tape based backups.
