- kunalLevel 4Hi,
the support email address is :
enterprise_support@symantec.com
Some suggestions on the problem:
Looking at the RMAN output, you seem to be getting "media position error"
This error is usually due to faulty media. I would suggest you to check for the following:
- OS syslog for any I/O errors at the time of backup.
- Freeze the media used for this backup and try to backup on a new media.
- Check the netbackup error report to see if there are any media errors reported at the time of this backup.
Hope this helps.
- angelrhaniLevel 2Thanks for the reply.

"Server Status: media position error" - MarianneLevel 6
The details in the second post also doesn't show any status 13 (just the media position error).
Where do you see the Error 1:(13) file read failed ?
