Backup and file server with Enterprise Vault
Shouldn't there be a batch file ( or some command) to stop the file server placehoder service on a file server that is being archived during backups of the file server?

Hey,
I have not heard of the reg settings. I have EV 6 with SP4. Can you explain in more details. I used to just run a batch file to stop the placeholder service on the file server but someone seems to have deleted that. Also I have another post about the file placeholder service running on the vault itself. I do not believe that is neccesary. Can you help with that as well.
