Netbackup upgrade from 7.5.0.5 to 7.5.0.6

Hi Guys,

We are running  currently Netbackup 7.5.0.5

We are planning for a upgrade to 7.5.0.6

Does it add any value to our current environment?

please share your ideas/experience.

    NetBackup 7.5.0.6 includes the following proliferations and enhancements:

    • YES, Windows Server 2012/8 is now supported!
    • db2 10.1 (snapshot support; streaming support was added in 7.5.0.5)
    • Exchange 2013
    • Hyper-V 2012
    • SharePoint 2013
    • SAP HANA client support
    • Netbackup7.5.0.5 exchange 2010-bug seems to fixed in 7.5.0.6-below is the ref link

    Some media servers that are configured to restrict the source interfaces suffer CORBA connection failures after upgrading to NetBackup 7.5.0.6.  All jobs using that media server may fail with status 25.

    I only upgraded the master servers and their media servers to 7.5.0.6 in order to get the 2012 support. I left all clients at 7.5.0.4 until I go to 7.6.x and then I will do master/media upgrades and then the clients via LiveUpdate.

    If you are using Opscenter, make sure your opscenter is at 7.5.0.6 before upgrade..
