BMR Database

    hi,

    did you already configured the BMR ? and trying to start it..?

    if not check this

     

    To create the BMR database
    1 Log on as the root user on the system on which the NetBackup master server
    is installed.
    2 Run the following command to start the BMR master server daemon, if it is
    not running:
    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/rc.bmrd start
    3 Run the following command to create the BMR database:
    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsetupmaster
    After you create the BMR database, you can configure backup policies to
    collect BMR required information from NetBackup clients.

Please unconfigure BMR master server using "bmrsetupmaster -undo" and try bmrsetupmaster again.

If failed again, consider to try rebuild procedures described as Option 2 in this technote.
