RE: Erase data from tape securily
Hi team,
I am using Netbackup 6.5.4 on Linux (Redhat 5.5 ) platform. I have done some test backups they have run well and restore the data too. I have created regular backup and catalog backups, everything is working fine and showd in the activity monitor, but these are my test on the Netbackup.
Now I want to erase the data on the tapes and reuse them as brand new.
My question is
1)how to erase the data securily from the tapes?
2)how to delete the catalog backups also from the tapes?
3) how can I re assign the tapes to the catalog backups (as I assigned two tapes for the catalog backup(cold))?
My question is
1)how to erase the data securily from the tapes?
2)how to delete the catalog backups also from the tapes?

Please help me
Thanks
