Netbackup master not working

Netbackup 7.6.0.1 Master : RHEL6 i have configured a new master server. Whenever I initiate a new backup that job is not coming to activity monitor. can not connect to remote service :(DARSM...

    Seems your Linux server was installed without basic networking? 

    127.0.0.1       localhost 
    is normally in /etc/hosts by default.

    Symantec does not mention this as a requirement because it is assumed that a NetBackup server will have Networking by default. cheeky

    Even standalone NBU master servers need network comms from itself to itself.

    Some TNs mention this /etc/hosts entry as a requirement, like this one:   http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH66433
