To restore from duplicate copy, you will need to promote this copy to primary.

Next point to confirm is Rman catalog.
Was backup done using rman catalog or NOCATALOG?
If Rman catalog - you/dba need to ensure that rman catalog is accessible at remote domain.

Redirected restore is covered in NetBackup for Oracle Administrator's Guide:  http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5175 under this topic:

Redirecting a restore to a different client

Here you will see that the restore is initiated from the destination client.
So, important to confirm comms between master and destination client:
Forward and reverse name lookup plus port 1556 open in both directions.
Create altnames entry on master server to allow redirected restore (details in the manual) and firstly use bplist on the destination client to see if Oracle images for source client can be listed.
List and restore commands must be done as same oracle user id that performed the backup.
(Compare user id's in /etc/passwd on source and destination client).
See the same manual for bplist example.

When bplist works fine, the DBA needs to confirm connectivity to Rman catalog and use rman commands to list backups.
If all of the above is fine, see the manual for instructions on NBU and/or Rman variables - such as NB_ORA_CLIENT and CLIENT_NAME.
    Fine to use either or.

Lastly, confirm comms between destination client and media server where images were duplicated to.
Test backup and restore of small filesystem folder will be fine.

Ensure ALL of these folders exist before you start:

On master: bprd  (restart NBU if you need to create the folder)
On destination client: bpcd and dbclient (dbclient needs 777 permissions)
On media server: bpbrm and bptm

    Good luck!
