symantec netbackup command to delete drive from netbackup
Removing a device with tpconfig just removes the drive from the NetBackup configuration of the local host that you performed the command upon, i.e. it might not entirely disappear from NetBackup....

So then, if you run a tpconfig -delete command, where do you think the config is deleted from ?
