Hi, I have a problem whit the agent of oracle on Linux RHEL 5.4 64 bits, when the backup run send this message: RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ch00 channel at 02/11/2010 07:22:33 RMAN-10038: database session for channel ch00 terminated unexpectedly The oracle version is 11gR2 What is the problem? There are EEB (emergency Engineering Binary) to fix the issue. Contact Symantec support to obtain them, but read the technote first.

The are EEB for Solaris, Redhat & SUSE Linux. AIX on it's way.

there are EEB's available for this, which is what the T/N intimates:

I have given up phone support long time ago. Symantec waiting music is horrible ;-)
