Server is not licensed for Remote Client Option!

but the link asks for configuring a specific server, the issue is why the remote client option is not available on the new server?

there are wan link between the storage units so it is unacceptable to assign to another storage unit.

Please tell me more about your configuration, how many media servers, location, how the policy is setup. This might also be that the server is not licensed correctly. The more information you can provide the quicker we'll resolve this.

Hi,
it is simple, i have one server configured as master and two media severs
master server: mstbck001
media servers: mdbck001, mdbck002
backup policies work properly when i assign the storage unit to mdbck001
and give the error above when assign it to mdbck002

all licenses are uploaded to the master server
i believe that it is an issue in licensing the media server.

Please run the command on the media server and post the results

bpminlicense.exe -list_keys -verbose

This will show us if you maybe have the incorrect license installed.

I assume the backup works when you run it to the master server?

Ok, license looks fine. Can you check / post a screenshot of your storage unit configuration here. Does it have on-demand only set/ticked/selected. If so, what is the storage unit in your policy configuration?
