Hello Everyone!!!
I am using Netbackup 7 in my environment. All my servers and applications are being backed up sucessfuly but while i am trying to restore a folder which bas Backed in Sahre and Permission status, the folder is getting restored but the Shares and Securities are not there. So i have re share it with the permission.
Can any one suggest me if there is any special configuration is there for such share folders etc.

Are you trying to restore to same location or different location?
Whenever you restore a shared folder, all its permissions and share will be effected only after a reboot of the server.

I am restoring it on to the same location and rebooting it as well but permissions dsnt get rvted.
While restore, there is option not to restore permission - Restore without access control.
This should be uncheck if you want all the permission.

Find a screenshot which will help you to determine where the selection of restore option is located.
If you have deleted the backed up folder and restore it from backup the restoring of shared folder is in the given screenshot view.
After restoration .. Give a reboot to your file server and you will able to see the folders are restored with sharing permission.
try it .. This will help you to resolve your issue..
