SLP Duplicates is failing with error : database system error (220)

Master Server  - SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 Service Pack 2

One of my SLP Duplicates is failing with error : database system error (220)

I am using this SLP for multiple Policies, on other polcies it seems to be fine. (The SLP is not the issue )

When Checked, I found that there is only 1 policy the duplicates are failing for.

The Policy has servers with MS-Windows as the policy Type.

Detailed status shows :

02/04/2016 14:04:10 - Error nbjm (pid=13513) NBU status: 914, EMM status: RB media reservation not found
02/04/2016 14:06:16 - Error bpduplicate (pid=19717) db_IMAGE() failed: database system error (220)

02/04/2016 14:09:53 - Error bpduplicate (pid=19717) Duplicate of backupid Servername_backupid failed, database system error (220).

I have checked the Primary backup has comepleted and I can see the image in the Catalog search.

Why is Netbackup unable to duplicate when the Copy still exist and the same copy has the entry in DB.

Please help !

  • Is is for a backup image related to GRT?

    If so, then these two TN may be of interest:

    It's a bit difficult without seeing the whole activity monitor job log and/or some extract from the bpdbm log.

  • Since this is SLP duplication...if for the first time this job failed...does it completes when it kicks of another time ? or is it the same issue...
