STATUS CODE: 6 " the backup failed to back up the requested files"

Dear All,

I need you help to resolve my problem,, it is STATUS CODE: 6 " the backup failed to back up the requested files"  when Run Oracle Database backup using RMAN
and the output LOG for failed joj as follow :-

  • Does the jaw-vas1 server have multiple NIC cards? If yes, specify the NIC that you want to use through a REQUIRED_INTERFACE=ipaddress entry in the /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file of the database server

    also, check if the master server can do reverse hostname lookup properly

  • yes ,, jaw-vas1 server (client) have multiple NIC for one IP address  10.100.14.180
    I put the line REQUIRED_INTERFACE= 10.100.14.180 in bp.conf
    also I check the reverse hostname lookup on master server it is ok

    I try to make backup now
