transferring BMR information to the master server

HI all,

I am taking the backup of Windows 2008 server.

Backup is in progress.But transferring BMR information to master is failing with below error.Kindly suggest on how to resolve this issue.

    BMR supports windows client with GPT partition and EFI boot in 7.6 release. You may want to upgrade your NetBackup setup to 7.6 or later.

    What version of NetBackup is installed on this client?

    Please have a look on this technote, and determine if this is applicable for your environment. Even if this must be fixed in your client version, same troubleshooting procedure(looking into  bmrsavecfg logs) may help.

    Any reason why IP address is used to backup client? NBU works best using hostnames.

    Please confirm that forward and reverse hostname lookup is working between master, media server and client and that port 1556 is open in all directions.

    About status 26 for BMR backup, see this TN for NBU 7.5.0.4: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH200322 

    Fix for this error is in NBU 7.5.0.5 and later.

    Please confirm NBU patch levels on master and clients - upgrade if not on 7.5.0.5 or later.
    Latest 7.5 version is 7.5.0.7.

    Server C drive found be GPT partition so BMR  is failing.BMR is not supported for server with GPT partition.

    in 7.5 version.Above issue was found for other server also which had GPT partition

    Jobs of this natiure will fail with a status rc=1 for the backup job. 

    Use this TECH article to diagnose problems with BMR client discovery/import issues:

    BMR enabled backup jobs fail with status code 1

    If you see this in the job details then the problem was found on the client during 'bmrsavecfg' process:

    Send of discovery not attempted.

    BMR will not send a bad configuration file to the Master, when it detects it. Use the debug of ORGID 121 on the client, as indicated in the TECH article.
