Vmware backup issue on Netbackup Appliance

Hi

am using netbackup appliance to backup vmware and VM's UUID zoned to netbackup host but still failing with below error.

i am using SAN method to backup and dont want to use any other.

confirmed service account had permssions to vcnenter but still issue

  • Datastores get zoned to the Appliance, not VM's UUID.

    You also need to do LUN assignment in array management software.

  • Can you see the datastore disk(s) on the appliance ?

    Know that on media servers, you often have to rescan for disks after the zoning has been done.

    You write UUID, but zoning in fabrics/disk systems is usually done on WWN's, so there might be a mismatch there.
