NetBackup does not store the IP address.
Device-related records for a tape library depends on the type of connection.
If SCSI/Fibre, the hardware device address (/dev/sg... ) is stored in NBU.
If robot is controlled by ACSLS, the hostname of the ACSLS server is stored in NBU.
Hostname -> IP address lookup is controlled at OS-level - either /etc/hosts or DNS.To know how the robot is connected, check output of:
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/tpconfig -lYou can find the IP address of the robot on the operator panel.
