    Hi Sergy,

Windows 2008 Failover clustering introduced a new concept for fileshares that all clustered fileshares are scoped to the virtual server name and is only accessible via the vitual server name.  SFW-HA originally followed Microsoft's lead and implemented scoped clustered fileshares.  However, many of our customers did not like this behavior and we introduced a patch (Hotfix_5_1_20002_2220352) that is included in CP8.

SFW-HA offers serveral different ways to disable fileshare scoping.  You can create a couple of registry key entries as outlined in the readme of the hot fix or you can clear out the LanmanResName attribute of the FileShare resource(s) that scoping should be disabled.

It appears that your clusters are not as similar as you think.  The cluster that is not scoping the FileShares has a registry entry that is not there on the other cluster or the LanmanResName attribute is not defined.

For details on the FileShare scoping hot fix got to https://sort.symantec.com/patch/detail/5897 and search for Hotfix_5_1_20002_2220352.)

    Thank you,

    Wally
