SSR 2013 R2 Shows Reduced Data size after backup

Hello All, Has someone else experienced this? I installed SSR 2013 R2 and created an independent recovery point fo a partition of 921GB used space. When it completed successfully, I got only 532GB ...

Is there deduplication now in SSR 2013 R2 or am I having another issue.

Why do you think you have an issue? As another poster mentioned, this may just be due to the compression level you are seeing with the data that was backed up.

If you can mount the recovery point, all should be fine.
