Back up status

I have installed Backup Exec 10.0 on a Windows 2003 server. I am using a built in HP tape drive to do my back ups. However everytime I set up a back up to run it initializes but the status then changes from running to queued status and stays in that mode

    Hello,

    1. Please ensure that the server is not paused.

    2. Ensure that the device you are using is not offline.

    3. Please check if you have media alerts in the alerts tab.

    4. Update the drives and firmware on the tape drive.

    1-no the server is not paused

    2-Device is online

    3-there are no media alerts

    4-updated all the drivers

    Any other suggestions?

    Check for event ids 7,9,11 15 in the system event log
