Thank you Cathy Adams Simplfied Disaster Recovery Disk is not Created I cannot to get this message regarding that I need to create a disaster Recovery Disk but my server will not do that. Thanks Cathy Disk to Tape - Transfer Rate VERY Slow I am using Backup Exec 2014 to do Full Backup then Incremental backup Disk then to Tape. This particular backup is an Exchange 2013 server backup. I have the license. Problem, the backup to disk runs just fine, transfer rate very good. BUT, for just this ONE backup to tape (I have 14 other server backups and they run fine from disk to tape) the transfer rate has dropped now to 32MB a minute. I have a 1GB network between the disk array and tape library. What is going on? Thanks Cathy Re: Second Tape Drive will not accept tapes - I have License Nevermind, I figured it out finally. I had to add the second tape drive back . When you do that, you have to go into the Properties of the Robotic library 0001 and 0002 (i have two robotic libraries that have 12 slots each). From the Properties, There is a Tape devices that are part of the robotic library partition section, I added the tape drive 0003 (could not name it 0002) clicked OK then clicked on Apply. It is working now. Yea.... Cathu Second Tape Drive will not accept tapes - I have License My second tape drive in the library will apparently is not working. Still cannot delete several of the IMGxxx folders but will continue to try. Cathy Re: IMG Folders Being Created on a Remote Backup Server They are still not getting cleared after the backup or cateloging. What are the IMGnn folders on my Exchange Server from Backup Exec I am running Backup Exec 2014 on a server. I have an agent for Exchange 2007 server to back up the databases. I have noticed that the Backup Exec creates IMGnn folders on the C: and D: and F: drives of my Exchange server. I can delete some of them if they are older but the newer ones created in the past couple of days I cannot delete. Question: How can I stop them from being created? How can I delete them? Thanks much Cathy Adams SolvedRe: Issues Restoring from Backup Tapes VJware: Thanks for the tip. But that does not work either. Not sure what else to do. I am now trying another setup of End of Month tapes. I have been able to restore from End of Year and End of Month tapes up until this set. thanks Cathy Re: Issues Restoring from Backup Tapes Here are the screen shots of the catalog I did (again) this morning. Then showing the tape information from the tapes loaded in the tape library. Then showing the Restore Wizard. I have done restores many many times before. I am very familuar with the process and yet with this, I cannot show the date I want to restore. I have rebooted my computer. Placed the tapes in different slots just to make sure but still I cannot restore. When I try to do the restore from the tape it will not show anything. Cathy
