PVLSVR startup error

Hi

One of my clients are getting a BE pvlsvr application error on server boot

The instruction at 0x08109c57 referenced memory at 0x00000000, the memory could not be read, click ok to terminate program, click cancel to debug the program

This stops the server from booting until one of the options are clicked.

Any ideas on what couldbe causing this?

    Hi

     

    If you disable the service before the boot means all backupexec services & then boot have you checked if that works fine

    Also what version of 11d is this is this 6235 or 7170 If it is 11d 6235 please upgrade to 11d 7170 sp5

    Any Changes That Could have Caused the problem ?

    i.e Windows Update, Live update.

    Any event related to the error?

    Try Running a Repair On the Backup exec Application.
