We downloaded our copy of BackupExec v2012 today & attempted to upgrade our copy of BackupExec v2010 running on Windows 2012 to find out this is still unsupported. Should we be returning the BE v2012 or can you give me a date as to when this will be resolved?

Running BE 2010 on Server 2012 is unsupported and will probably stay unsupported from what I have seen. So, if you wish to use Server 2012, I would plan to be using BE 2012 R2 when it is released. I hear the upgrade from BE 2010 to BE 2012 R2 will be smoother than the upgrade from BE 2010 to BE 2012, so you may wish to wait to deploy.
