error 0xe00084f4 After Upgrading HP LTO Tape Firmware to G66D (BEWS 12.5 SP1)
On 1/12/2009 I upgraded to 12.5 SP1 from 12.5. That went fine. Yesterday I loaded HP Library and Tape Tools for My Ultrium and discovered that a recommended firmware upgrade was available. I've done these probably 1x a year over the past 8 years with no issues. The firmware upgrade went fine. I reboot the media server it was on just in case.
Now all backup jobs to tape fail with:

That link points to several possible causes, 1. Several involve using Backup Exec older versions and tape drivers, 2. Article says a conflict with HP Server Management Agents. We need these agents on the server where Backup exec is installed to monitor the health of the server itself.

Any ideas?
- Disabling the "HP Insight event notifier service" appeared to fix this.
