"Access is denied" when restoring a Public Folder contact

Running: 

Backup Exec version 11d, build 7170 with SP3 and all recent hotfixes on Windows Server 2003 w/SP2

Exchange 2003 with SP2 on Windows Server 2003 w/SP1

Problem:

I'm trying to restore an item from a Public Folder, which was backed up to disk from the Information Store using GRT.  Whenever I try to restore any item from this particular Public Folder, I consistently receive the following error:

Error category    : Security Errors
Error             : e0008488 - Access is denied.

The remote agent on the Exchange server was in debug mode for this restore and I noticed the following lines in the debug file:

[1220] 01/13/09 15:01:19 LP_ENV::MsgError: error 0xe0008488 processing object Public Folder Store <public folder name> <public folder item> etc...

[1220] 01/13/09 15:01:20 Device Error = 1101

Any other public folder, and their items within, are able to be restored without any problem.  I currently have a case open with Symantec Adavanced Support, but they do not appear to have an immediate solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
