Your search produced more than the maximum of 5000 matches when trying to restore

Hi guys, we have a customer we just upgraded to v7 SP1 from v5, and they now get this restriction pop up when they try to restore more than 5000 items from a search using search.asp (Browser Search).  And when they were on v5, they didn't have this restriction.  Is this customizable to allow more items to be restored?  If so, how?
