    1) read the manual on open file backups
    2) check your settings in netbackup
    3) run a backup and then check your backups ( by  pretending to do a restore and see if the file is on the backup tape).

    Which documentation i should read? I can't find any documentation on open file backup.

    Thanks, I have read it already and found out that VSP & VSS are used for Winsdows client only. What if the client is UNIX in master server? All my clients are either Linux or Unix. What options they need to chose for backing up the open files?
