Everything is OK and in Help->About I see that both updates are installed. However when I re-run the LiveUpdate, I still get the Service Pack 1. Which of cause I can't reinstall.... Any ideas how I can get past this update and receive the follow up upates ? Thanks Unable to restore Top Level Site under Sharepoint 2010 and BE 2010 R2 Hello, I'm currently testing our Backup Exec 2010 R2 with our Sharepoint 2010 server. Backup is not an issue, but I ran into some troubles with the restore and I hope someone here can help me out. So far I tested the restore (GRT) of individual Items (like Documents, List items, etc) No Problem Restore on a complete List no problem either. Bit if I try to delete/restore an entire site, no luck. BE keeps telling me: "Final error: 0xe0000369 - Backup Exec cannot restore the security for a Sharepoint Top Level Site. Ensure that the logon account has the proper credentials, and then try again. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-873" Restore- SharePoint - 80\Content-DB 1 (SERVERNAME\SPS2010DB\WSS_Content) V-79-57344-873 - Backup Exec cannot restore Test_XYZ sites/Test_XYZ. Ensure that the logon account has the proper credentials, and then try again. Error writing file data. The account I use to do the restore is: Local Administrator on the Sharepoint Server Secondary Site Collection Administror (top level of http://SERVERNAME) Holds the "db_owner" role for the WSS_Content database. Anything I missed, what possible right does Backup Exec still need?? If however I create a blank site with the name of the site I want to restore, then BE restores without an error. Thanks for your time Re: Backup Exec 2010 R2 crashes Lotus Domino Administrator Console This post can be closed. Found the solution by try-and-error. Even if you only tick the Lotus Notes Databases (via the LN Agent) something is blocking the LN Administrator after a backup. So by only selection the absolutly necessary LN databases and directoriesit's working now without blocking. Backup Exec 2010 R2 crashes Lotus Domino Administrator Console Hi, I've a Backup Exec 2010 R2 with a Lotus Notes agent licenceinstalled. But then I do a backupof one of our Lotus Notes 8.5.1 server(for starters i only did LN Databases via the LN Database icon, no windows files), the backup works fine, but after the Lotus Notes Administrator is blocked. Then I try to open the LN Administrator I get "Unable to create locations due to error 'This database is currently in use by another person or process, and cannot be accessed at thsi time. In order to share a Notes database, it must be accessed via a Domino Server by all users of the database.'. Restarting LN solves the problem but this ain't a real solution. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this problem? Many thanks SolvedVarious problems with the deduplication folder Hi everyone, I tried to find some solution to that Deduplication mystery in BackupExec 2010 R2 rev.4164 64bit. Hotfix: 358289, 140360, 358410, 358288, 138226 We currently experience a lot of troubles with the DSF folder. Not only that it doesn't turn online until we "push" it a bit and then restart the services, but we also experienced some more urgent problems with the DSF. In order to find a solution to our problems, I tried tofind some answers in the rather limited documentation of the Dedup solution of BackupExec 2010 but was unable to find the correct one. Somaybe someone here can helpme. We have a Mediaserver with a 16TB Deduplication folderand ran into a Full disk. So a couple of days ago we deleted a lot of old backups and still today the DSF folder is full. I ran manually a couple of crcollect -v -m +1,+2 crcontrol --processqueue crcontrol --processqueueinfo crcontrol --compactstart crcontrol --compactstate And still I end up with these stats: (Records marked for compactions +200K files !) I assume that can't be correct, right? crcontrol --dsstat ************ Data Store statistics ************ Data storage Size Used Avail Use% 14.6T 12.7T 1.9T 87% Number of containers : 52258 Average container size : 265758813 bytes (253.45MB) Space allocated for containers : 13888024062230 bytes (12.63TB) Space used within containers : 13835927476729 bytes (12.58TB) Space available within containers: 52096585501 bytes (48.52GB) Space needs compaction : 24952328716 bytes (23.24GB) Records marked for compaction : 220354 Active records : 105504086 Total records : 105724440 Use "--dsstat 1" to get more accurate statistics ----- Another problem that I noticed is that I have a couple OST files in this Deduplication Storage Folder which have been marked as “offline Media”. An inventory of the entire DSF folder returns for each offline OST file the message: Error : e0008214 - Library error - source location is empty. The ADAMM.log files shows the following: ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 2 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 3 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 65 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 202 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 203 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 204 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 207 ostutil: PureDisk:ANASAZI missing DirEntry 208 ...keeps going... Does anyone know if there is a way to run a consistency check or similar on the Dedup solution? Or how to fix that problem with the Offline OST files. Thanks in advances
