I think I have everything setup correctly by selecting all I wantto backup and made what I think are the correct selections under the SQL tab. My backups are running successfully, but my transaction log continues to grow. My DB is 9 GB and my transaction log has now grown to 30 GB, how do I get this to purge after the backups have ran? Re: License will not display and need to reinstall Ok, Thanks Re: License will not display and need to reinstall Ken, Thanks, actually the file is in the Windows directory, but no biggie. Would you happen to know why I cannot get the window to open in BE? License will not display and need to reinstall I have an SBS2K3 server with BE 11d installed, the backups are running fine, however I need to rebuild this server due to upgrades being installed. The issue is this, the previous admin has lost the key code card that came with the software, I open BE and click on Tools, License Keys and Installation, but this window will not open. Can anyone either tell me how to get this window to open, or where to look in the registry to extract the keys that are installed, I need to rebuild this server this weekend and do not want to go without backups after the rebuild.. also for more information I have the following Hot Fixes installed 1,3,4,5,,6,7,8,9,11,12,14. License Keys and Installation I am trying to add a license key to my small business installation. When I go to Tools, License Keys and Installation, I get a short hour glass (1-2 seconds) it then goes away and I do not get the installation screen as I would on other servers. Can anyone assist? Is this a Windows installer version issue? BE Fails on backup of disabled mailboxI am running BE 10d on Windows 2003 OS with Exch2k, I have the exchange agent installed. When all mailboxes are enabled the backup runs fine and backs up all mailboxes, the backup runs under its' own account which is an exchange administrator. However if I disable (not delete) a user account thru AD, the backups fail and state that access to the mailbox is denied. I do not understand why this should be happening as the user account for the mailbox is disabled but the BE account should still have access to the mailbox. The error message is below; Backup- \\STAEX01\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory ?Cindy Segler and its subdirectories. V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied. Access denied to file Pride Mersbach ?Top of Information Store?Deleted Items?Read and Return. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
