I have 2 servers in which I need to back data up from. I installed backup exec and got the remote agent installed as well, but everytime I try to access the second server it says I do not have a proper license. My questions are: 1. Does Backup Exec come with 1 CAL for Remote Agents? 2. If so, where do I locate the number to unlock it? 3. If not, Where do I go to purchase a CAL for this and what are the costs? 4. Once I purchase a CAL if the need be, where do I put the number to make it see the remote server? 5. Have a nice day, and thanks for the help.Re: Install Trouble with SQL 2005It may be if I could get the software installed first. :)Install Trouble with SQL 2005I just received our Backup Exec Software today and was in the process of installing, when it came up with an error saying that 'An instance of Microsoft SQL 2000 was found that is not updated to service pack 3a.' We are not running SQL 2000. We have SQL 2005, and there is no such service pack available. The version we have currently for SQL 2005 is 9.00.1399.06. Unfortunately, it terminates my install at this point and will not let me continue. Has anyone else had this problem and found a work around for this? Thanks in advance for your help.
