Install Trouble with SQL 2005

I just received our Backup Exec Software today and was in the process of installing, when it came up with an error saying that 'An instance of Microsoft SQL 2000 was found that is not updated to service pack 3a.' We are not running SQL 2000. We have SQL 2005, and there is no such service pack available. The version we have currently for SQL 2005 is 9.00.1399.06. Unfortunately, it terminates my install at this point and will not let me continue. Has anyone else had this problem and found a work around for this? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

    At the moment Backup Exec cannot be installed on a SQL 2005 database, however you could backup the database.

    For enabling Backups of a SQL 2005 database, please install the following Hotfix:
    Hotfix 6 which can be downloaded from the following URL: http://support.veritas.com/docs/280204)
