Hello, I have a media server where the disks belonging to a specific enclosure are misbehaving. Their response times are extremely high using vxdmpadm iostat and i can also see from the OS logs that they are faulty. How can i just disable writes to those disks. I dont want to to completely disable the enclosure as we have data on it that may be used for restore purposes so we need to keep read access to it.Solved1.9KViews1like5CommentsSFHA Solutions 6.2: Symantec Storage plug-in for OEM 12c

I am part of a services Org. in IBM that delivers solutions on POWER AIX systems. We have some very large enterprises which use both VCS and VSF products. I am trying to find an updated product compatibility matrix showing the following: List which VCS and VSF version and release levels are supported or compatible with current versions of PowerVM Virtual IO Server (version and release). VSF documentation indicates support for "OS Logical volume managers" (LVM and PowerVM Live Partition mobility (LPM). I would like to know any AIX, VCS or VSF version and release dependencies to enable the OS LVM and PowerVM LPM functions within Storage foundation and Cluster server.Solved2.1KViews1like4CommentsHow to use fsdb to repair VxFS file system?

Hello, I would like to share FS between SCO Openserver v6 and AIX (+ Basic Storage Foundation V6.0.3). I created some filesytems on SCO Openserver and maps this LUN to a AIX servers (using SAN capabilities). The servers didn't share the same LUN in the sametime. # lspv .... hdisk18 none None # vxdisk scandisks # vxdisk -e list DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS OS_NATIVE_NAME ATTR .... san_vc1_9 auto:none - - online invalid hdisk18 - The disk is online but invalid. I suppose that VxFS on SCO Openserver is not compatible with SF 6. But is it true ? and is there a way to solve that ? Thanks.Solved1.1KViews0likes4CommentsHow to re-configure a data disk into a VG
