Exclude Backup Exec from live update

I have a Backup exec 2010 R3 on 2003 server everything worked fine until corporate Symantec Enpoint Protection was installed. BE overtake liveupdate setting from SEP and now is trying to...
a common liveupdate is used between BE & SEP, however if you optout, BE would not get updated when LU for SEP is run & if you addBE, it would receive update only from the external Symantec Liveupdate server..
possibly, Liveupdate is corrupted...best to reinstall Liveupdate, optout & addbe ....you may download liveupdate 3.3 from http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/home_homeoffice/products/lu/lu/files.html
