Enterprise vault client Login - Shared Mailbox/Archive
Hello We're testing Macintosh EV client in our environment with EV client for Mac 10.0.3 and EV server 9.0.4 CU3. The client is able to login and work as expected for primary mailbox, however it is unable to login for shared mailbox/archive even though primary account has full access to mailbox and archive. Below is the error received when trying to login to shared archive/mailbox using primary mailbox credentials: I am guessing it needs some additional permissions to sign in to shared mailbox or EWS impersonation on Exchange 2010 side perhaps? If anyone encountered similar issue please? Tried to look through technotes and forums but couldn't find any (probably my bad search skills lol) and no mention of shared mailbox in EV client for Mac documentation either. :S Thanks for your inputs in advance !Solved2.7KViews0likes21CommentsEV 10 sp3 and Mac OSX 10.9

Hi, I had working Vault installation, which was broken when I upgraded to Mac OS X Yosemite. So installed new 2015 Offise suite (including new Outlook (15.18 160109). Then tried to install Enterprice Vault from disk imageSymantecEnterpriseVaultClient.11.0.1.1022.dmg. The installation says: Cannot install Symantec Enterprise Vault Client on this computer for the following reasons: -No supported mail client found Try installing after ensuring that your computer meets the following minimum requirements: -Microsoft Outlook 2011 version 14.0.0 or later Any ideas what the problems is or what I could try? Needless to say the Outlook works just fine, is installed in the default location (/Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app) and is selected as the default mail client. br Kusti2KViews0likes7Commentsnotes cant manually archive mail on Mac

Working in a production environment integrating Exchange 2007 EV10.0.4 wih Macs Office 2011. (Windows EV and Outlook 2010 already funstioning) I have searched these KB's on Symantec and cannot see an article specifically answering why after installing the DMG and hotfix 2 EV 10.0.4 the menubar options are all greyed out except: "Enterprise Vault Preferences" "Enterprise Vault Help Topics" "AboutEnterprise Vault" After logging into Outlook with an account setup script enabling online mail acocunt the toolbar or Ribbon is not appearing in Outlook either. The macs are 10.9.2 Mavericks and bound to the domain with valid Kerberos ticket in the /Library/System/CoreServices/TicketViewer. So how do the accounts verify authorisation on mac EV clients, I was hoping it was Kerbeors? Thanks for looking at this. So as most probably know Apple released OS XYosemite (10.10) this week. Previously MacBook Air'swere runningMaverick 10.9.x witheVault plugin10.0.4R1(SymantecEnterpriseVaultClient.10.0.4.1030.dmg). We had some users upgrade without IT approval (we do not have GPO's or what the Mac equivalent may be) and when they open Outlook 2011 for Mac they are prompted to sign into the EVault Toolbareven if they had previously stored their credentials in the Mac OS keychain. Opened a ticket with EVault support and they were not provided an advanced copy ofOS XYosemite (10.10) and as such have no information about it. Supports stance is it may or may not work and if it does great. Well it doesn't work as stated above. As my Evault 10.0.4R1 environment is forward compatable with most external plugins like PC outlook client, OWA plugins and such I tried to upgrade to the EVault11.0.0R1 for Mac pluginbut it failed during the install with the message: -MacOS X version 10.10 is not supported. Try installing after ensuring that your computer meets the following minimum requirements: -Mac OS X version 10.7.0 or later Anyone else figured out a work around until Symantec has something official? It's always something!Solved1.4KViews1like7CommentsEV 11 Plugin on Outlook 2011 for Mac crashes
I have an issue which I cannot seem to fix. I am using Yosemite with EV 11.0.1.1022 plugin installed. Whenever I login to the vault the EV app appears to crash. The icon in the top task bar disapears and the about 60 seconds later returns and is still not logged in. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but to no avail. The hotfix 1 for EV 11 seems to be for windows operating systems only with nothing for OSX. Has anyone else suffered this?1.3KViews0likes5Comments
