Hello, I seem to be having an issue running the data againg report within Data Insight. Every time I run this report it fails. I had a call with tech support and they mentioned the report.exe keeps crashing. They are currently looking into it, but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else is has has this issue in the past. Hello, I'm looking for guideance, help and understanding around the Data Insight Self Service Portal. More specifically use cases, how are you using this product? Another question: How can I schedule my workflows to happen on a re-occuring basis? Once the workflow is terminated as complete it seeems I have to create another workflow. Which in my mind could lead to a large number of workflows in the system. The documentation seems to be pretty light on this product. Hello, I'm working w/ a customer on a Data Insight implementation and a question the customer has, is there a way, or even a reason to limit the users that Data Insight imports through Active Directory. The customer has a large # of disabled accounts and or service accounts so we are wondering if in the AD import we could limit the users that it processes? Or even better should we limit the users the AD import processes? Thanks in advance,550Views1like0CommentsGeneral Sizing Guidelines - Disk space Calculation
I am trying to determine the amount of disk space that I will need for my DI 5 RP1 server. Currently I have 100GB drive assigned for DI and I need to grow it because it is has been consumed. The question is how big do I need to grow the disk? We recently migrated to a new VNX which contains two large shares. Current Size between the two shares is 3.5TB. This 3.5 TB consists of 60M files in 930k folders. The daily audit files average about 150MB. According to the sizing guidelines in Appendix B of the DI 5 Admin Guide I should only need the following: I doubled everything because it is a single instance installation. 200MB per every 1 million files. 60M files x 200MB = 12,000M or 12GB estimated. 40MB per 1 million events. Not sure where to find the stats for this. Activity show 40M. 40M events x 40MB = 1600M or 1.6 GB estimated Due to single instance - This server is also a collector 60 -80 GB per collector Total disk space needed - 80GB for collector + 12GB + 1.2GB = 93.2GB Current size of DI server disk space is 100GB. Only scans and audit data no reports or anything else has been configured as of yet. Are there more detailed sizing guidelines that can be used to get a better estimate of space consumption?Solved1.8KViews1like1CommentEnterprise Vault Discovery accellerator segregation

Hello all, Hoping someone can help me with what is probably some pretty simple questions? Started looking at the Discovery Accelerator 10 Best Practice search guide (did they update anything in 11 that would be different) and trying to make sure I understand how the searching works. Been asked to do several fairly large searches and below is an example of just one of them. We have to do searches by year for specific individuals to and from other specific individuals. The following year would be the same but with whatever specific employees were working that year with the related items.I would like to be able to just do 2 searches per year (Party A to Party B and then Party B to Party A with all of the below criteria). The word align would also have to be able to include any word that has align in it (realignment, alignment, and so on) but the others in quotes would have to be exact. As you can see below, each of these has 3 search terms/values. So what is the best way to go about this if I just want to copy and paste the below into the subject/content field? Can I do the below or something similar and it will work? Align + "EVAAS" + "instructional practice" Align + "value-added" + "instructional practice" Align + "value added" + "instructional practice" Align + "EVAAS+ "IP" Align + "value-added" + "IP" Align + "value added" + "IP" Align + "EVAAS+ "instructional practice rating" Align + "value-added" + "instructional practice rating" Align + "value added" + "instructional practice rating" Align + "EVAAS+ "observation" Align + "value-added" + "observation" Align + "value added" + "observation" Align + "EVAAS+ "observational score" Align + "value-added" + "observational score" Align + "value added" + "observational score" Also, I'm not sure how Discovery Accelerator handles attachments? When doing "IP" in the subject/content fieldis worked fine for the message body but it would also pull messages with attachements that contained words like paticipant, even though the rest of the attachment and the body never contained "IP" specifically. Thanks in advance for any assistance, E1KViews0likes1Comment
